Nostalgia – Indian Auto Rickshaws

Submitted by on October 8, 2012 – 6:18 amNo Comment

This beautifully and colorfully painted auto rickshaw was on display at Spice Bazaar restaurant located at Mumbai International Airport.

For a lot of us, it brings the nostalgic memories of our childhood.

In many indian village festivals that I have visited, ranging from rural areas in the states of Bihar, UP, Rajasthan, and Tamilnadu, coloring Autos, Trucks and Bullock Carts was a way of expressing positive moods, happiness and hope.

I really loved seeing this one at the airport during my just completed trip.
